On March 20–21, 2004, the program committee of the 9th Scandinavian Workshop on Algorithm Theory (SWAT 2004) decided to award the prize for the best student contribution to SWAT 2004 to the authors of the paper "An Algorithm for Cyclic Edge Connectivity of Cubic Graphs,"
