Course description
A collection of selected articles and book chapters concerning
software development will be presented by the teachers.
Additionally, the students will themselves select and present
articles within the subject matter. Development of software will be
presented with focus on the areas: analysis, design, programming,
and testing. The following topics will be discussed:

design patterns
-
programming style
-
programming psychology
-
software testing
-
software tools.

To get the credit
- one must do all four assignments and
- take the oral exam.
Grades
Grades will be given according to grade points
achieved by each student. It is possible to obtain grade points as follows:
- Presentation assignment: 10 points
- Review assignment: 10 points
- Testing assignment: 0-20 points
- Survey assignment: 0-30 points
- Oral exam: 0-30 points
Grade points are converted into grades according to the
following table:
