May 1999 to June 2002: PhD studies at the University of Copenhagen in Computer Science at DIKU.
January 2000 to July 2000: Visiting researcher at Oxford University Computing Laboratory, collaborating with Dr. de Moor.
September 1991 to February 1999: Graduate studies at the University of Copenhagen, major in Computer Science at DIKU, minor in English language and literature at the dept. of English, Faculty of Humanities. Key major studies comprise Semantics-based program manipulation and algorithms.

Employment

December 1996 to May 1999: Employed as research programmer at DIKU, developing various experimental systems; including C-Mix, an automated program specialiser for the C language.
Summer 1998: Lecturing at the DIKU Summer School on Partial Evaluation.
August 1996 to December 1996: Employed as assistant teacher (instruktor) at DIKU, teaching compiler construction and semantics on course Datalogi 1S.
December 1994 to August 1996: Employed as assistant system programmer by AT&T (now NCR), Nørrebro, Denmark. Areas of duty comprised testing and development of the company's UNIX system to make it comply with various standards (POSIX, XPG4, etc.) and development of base software to assist this process.
