MAC: Co-Applicant in the Modeling Articular Cartilage project that funded my Post.Doc. position at ITU late 2003 and early 2004.
CATIA: Co-Applicant in the Clinical Applications and Theory of
Image Analysis project that funded 4 assistant professors and a
Ph.D. student at ITU for a 3 year period from late 2004. This was
an industrial grant primarily sponsored by our partner Center for Clinical and Basic Research.
QSMBI: Co-Applicant in the Quantitative Shape Modeling in
Biomedical Imaging project which is a research consortium with
ITU, the IMM group at the technical university of Denmark, Center for
Clinical and Basic Research, Nordic Bioscience, and the Danish Meat
Research Institute. The project was approved by the Danish Research
Council for the technical sciences and started medio 2005. For more

LImB: Co-applicant in the Learning Imaging Biomarkers project
under the Danish Council for Strategic Research NABIIT program funding
7 PhD scholarships in collaboration with Nordic Bioscience starting in

Positions of Trust
1992-2000: Chairman and then President of FC SparC, the soccer
team at DIKU. From 1998 also organizer of Cafeen? Cup, the soccer
championship at the faculty of natural sciences.
1993-1997: Board member of Kantineforeningen, the student
driven cafeteria at DIKU (elected position).
1994-1998: Arranging Rustur (freshman enrollment course) for the
new students at the faculty (and especially the institute), co-edited the
handbook for freshman course instructors.
1997-1999: Board member of Cafeen?, a social pub and music
house society for students and employees at the university (elected
position). Treasurer from 1998.
